Developing resilient workers

Product Description

You may already be in the thick of change and facing challenge in keeping the surviving workforce motivated and productive. There can be a significant emotional impact on workers where organisational change has been disruptive, involved redundancies and restructuring. Often labelled as ‘survivors’, the workforce can experience negative responses to change which can cause some to fear for their own job security, start job hunting or generally be distracted from their work. At a time, where the organisation may well need workers to be more involved and engaged in making the changes effective, workers can be less able to do so.

Through our resilience workshops, we help your workers to:

  • understand employability and how they can develop this during a period of change
  • identify tasks they may need to undertake that may not be in their ‘job description’ but that help them cope better with change
  • explore implications of change for individuals such as impact on individual roles, new skills or training needed, different ways of working or new relationships they need to develop
  • develop individual wellbeing strategies
